Au contraire anon. being part of the furry fandom doesn’t mean you have to make your ‘sona covered in fur. There are scalies, who like to draw reptiles and dragons and stuff, but they’re a subcategory of the furry fandom. Then there are those people who like to draw birds and other avians, who are considered… well, avians. Do people with birdsonas have a specific name?
anyway, I chose a shark for a lot of reasons. When I first decided I wanted to have a sharksona, it was before I started braces. I was a snaggletoothed motherfucker, teeth so crooked and out of place, hiding behind eachother and crowded. Sharks have a lot of teeth that are everywhere why not.
I also like fish a lot, pretty much a staple of my diet. Sharks like fish.
And even though sharks have spines, they’re not made out of bone. They’re like ears, where, yes they’re firm, but they’re also able to bend and fold and contort to different shapes.
Just like my spine, metaphorically
because I’m a pushover
I’m not kidding about that people walk all over me.
